Why does this matter?
An approval workflow provides an additional and recommended step of oversight and transparency in the commission process. Now, dealership management can quickly review and approve commissions.
What do you need to know?
Nimble Compensation is built with an approval workflow. We have two roles in the commission process.
The first role is responsible for calculating commissions. This individual is responsible for creating the pay period and using our software to generate the commissions, which involves compiling and uploading commission-related data. Once all the commissions have been calculated, this person will submit the commission for approval.
The second role is the approver. The approver is responsible for reviewing and approving the commission calculations before any reports are generated, the digital washout sheets are sent to employees, and the payroll team is provided with the commission information.
